holiday post

im doing 2 posts in 1 blog bcoz its sunday.

i basically did nothing during the holidays except going to my grandmas house to do my computer homework

what i should be thankful for

i should be thankful for having kind and loving parents, 4 siblings, a house to live in, a school to learn in, a country that is safe (although it is NOT clean and green as people say) and i should be thankful to have a computer.

"Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot."

That saying probably means that its better to have very little education with very good manners than having very good education with very bad manners. It basically means that Mrs Tay is telling us indirectly that we all have HORRIBLE manners. Shes also telling us that there is no use of her teaching us if we dont have manners!!

on my last week of holidays i quick rushed through finishing all my homework that i havent done.
P.S I did the same thing as the first week ;D

World Hunger

A lot of people are suffering from world hunger, especially the poorer countries such as India, Thailand and Vietnam. We, as Singapore are lucky to have enough food to eat ; sometimes more than enough. I feel grateful to live in a country like Singapore. I feel sorry for all the other people who are affected by the world hunger. I wish i could do something to help them

okay.
yesterday we went to watch a movie as said.my brothers and i went to watch monsters vs aliens 3d and land land of the lost.

if ur planning to watch land of the lost, dont let your mom see it.she wont approve of the humor. bring your dad instead.

i totally forgot about my blog hw until the 3rd week of holidays.

1st week

i stayed at home from monday to thursday
1st week

on friday ,i had my friday prayers and after we went home.on saturday,i went for my religious class and went home after that.i stayed at home on sunday.

2nd week

stayed at home from monday to thursday.did h/w

2nd week

on friday, after my prayers, i went to this place called Adam Road.
went to food court and ate 'nasi lemak' and 'roti john' and 'satay'.
went to religious class on saturday.
i stayed at home on sunday.

3rd week

im letting you guess what i did from monday to thursday

did the same on friday
saturday:went to friend's house after you-know-what.
sunday : my father changed this old taxi for a new taxi

4th week
monday to wednesday : home....
thursday planning to watch a movie(not sure what movie) but not 100% sure going to watch a movie

we havent reached friday to sunday yet.

My Dreams

I dream to participate in the amazing race one day(so i can travel all around the world) . I want to be a multi-billionair.I wish that i am the president of Singapore. I wish that i can do whatever i want whenever i want. And i wish that we would have NO HOMEWORK FOREVER!

Courtesy

Courtesy basically means respect to me. In Singapore, not many people are courteous in the public. When i accidentally bump into another person, i say sorry but they don't. Instead, they give me a dirty look and walk off. In the public bus/SMRT/SLRT, not many people give up their seats. Recently in the newspaper,there has been a report of a SMRT worker sitting on one of the seats and a lot of people made a big fuss out of it. I think they should not make a big fuss and the worker probaly deserves to sit because he has been standing from station to station. And maybe he has been standing for hours and is very tired. In this case, the passangers are the ones that are not courteous.
